Asphalt shingle with solar fan installation

Customer’s Challenge: Leaky roof and stagnant and heated air flow in attic space.

Solution by Kurihara Contracting: Because of Hawaii’s warm and humid climate, it is recommended that roofs be replaced approximately every 25 years. For this home, we performed a complete tear-off of three layers of existing material and replaced with PABCO Premier® asphalt shingles. We also installed solar fans to properly ventilate the attic space and improve the efficiency of the air conditioning system throughout the home.
